21 – Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes won a record 21st successive Davis Cup doubles match in 2008 in India’s World Group play-off tie with Romania.
28 – Czech Republic, Sweden and USA all qualified for their 28th appearance in the World Group, the most by any nation. They have all missed just one World Group participation since its introduction in 1981.
